Disabled parking slots in private car parks have no legal standing. Having said that, it's only polite and considerate to leave marked bays for disabled badge holders.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -

And what about the other people whom are entitled to use the disabled bays as they are classed as disabled under the Equalities Act?0 -
Hi cazzumba,
I have just joined the forum after thinking I was already a member, untill I tried to post..., hehe.
I can feel your pain, as I was issued a parking charge 7 days after yours from UKPC and after reading your replies, have decided to take no action also !
I don't want to hijack your post with my extra problem of leased ownership of the vehicle so will be posting my first post for any advice on that.., sorry I can't help at this time, but my thoughts and anxieties are shared with you in our quest _pale_ good luck !0 -
Hi, I have received a fine from a multi-storey car park at a hospital site. The council tell me that it is not owned by them, but by the trust. I have had the threat of court action. What is the best action for me to take, because I do not know it hospital land is classed as public or private ?
thank you0 -

If its not a council ticket, then it must be either from a private parking company or the landowner themselves ?
BTW, if its not a council ticket, then its not a fine, its an invoice.
More details about who its from.**** I hereby relieve MSE of all legal responsibility for my post and assume personal responsible for all posts. If any Parking Pirates have a problem with my post then contact me for my solicitors address.*****0 -
