Groupon/gadgetsandproducts faux leather bed

Has anyone else ordered this item through groupon from https://www.gadgetsandproducts.co.uk?
I am fuming with them i ordered in november and still nothing! first i got a tracking number for nightfrieght who never showed then when we called them the didnt have the item from the company so a week later got another tracking number for parcelforce they also dont arrive we call them up and they havent recieved the item from the company either!!
i am pulling my hair out i have sent emails and got no reply and when i call the company they say its the fault of the delivery company! been trying to get hold of gadgets and products over christmas to find they are closed till the 9th of jan!!!
im starting to think its a con :mad::mad:
well not be buying thru groupon ever again!

I have the same problem also. I have ordered two of these and recieved only recieved order numbers:mad:0

I am in full support of you on this company except I cannot get through... I keep getting an answer phone message. I have emailed and no response. The last email recieved was them saying they will send a tracking number in an email shortly.
In terms of never buying off group on, just to inform you I have brought lots of products from them and this is the only issue I have ever had.... even in the run up to christmas.
I looked the company up and they have only been in operation for 2 months.see companiesintheuk.co.uk (sorry cannot post links as I am new)
I am going to write to this address after I have moved. But I am not sure who to report them to as I have spent quite a bit of money. If you get any response etc.... please let me know and maybe others are experiencing the same problem. I have also reported it to BBC watchdog as they may be able to sort the company out before they cause too much hassle

thanks for the responses im glad im not alone! i was tempted to get a refund but to be honest i think i have more chance of getting the bed than seeing any of the cash again :mad:
I received an email on the 9th of jan to confirm that yes they are having problems but i would receive my bed within 14 working days which gives them till the 25th i have yet to receive any tracking number or any other email even tho i have sent them many.
if this is a scam i am going to kick myself as i always said that i would never fall for one, well at least we didnt have to pay full price!! (£279.99):eek:Finally had the "lightbulb moment" now facing up to debts

I ordered at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday and the bed was delivered at 7:20 a.m. the following day.
I'm really pleased with the quality for the money (£139.99 for a small double). When we ordered the bed DH said he would look at strengthening the slats but it really doesn't need it.

Well after 2 and a half months, numerous emails, talking to a voicemail a hundred times and a rant on the groupon facebook page...... we finally got our bed today yippeeee!!!:j
now just to put it up and probably find the screws/bedhead/one leg is messing

I have ordered that same bed through groupon as well, i am also having issues with gadgetsandproducts as i have not yet received my bed. Ordered it on the 7th December and still no news. Same thing with delivery, they gave tracking number, then cancelled it, then arranged parcel force, that was meant to come BY 23rd december, bed never showed. Called parcel force to only be told they dont have the bed. So same thing again called and emailed gadgetsandproducts, no response as of yet so i called Groupon and they have filed a Missing Product report and will try get a response from the company but this can take about 2 weeks so i am now waiting for this. I hope you get your bed and i hope i get mine, this is ridiculous and the fact they have stopped all communication is just utterly disgusting. Considering going to watchdog as i hope they dont live this hassle down.0 -
what a palava for you! thankfully we finally received the bed but it took 2 and a half months! we had the same problems as you are having including the parcelforce email we eventually got ours delivered by fedex.
It was such a pain in the butt as we genuinly thought it was a scam and that we would never receive the bed, i hope you get it soon because i bet they were quick enough to take the money!!Finally had the "lightbulb moment" now facing up to debts

Hi, i have been having the same problems. I was really patient at first, even when they've missed two deadlines. But it's been over two months now and i have heard nothing for the past month. I've tried contacting them by email but have had no response.
For those that have received the bed, what procedures did you go through to get it?
