What do you class as a cup? I am looking at a recipe but the water and flour are in cups not grams/ Oz. Is a cup a mug or a tea cup?
I am guessing as it is dough that what ever size cup I use as long as I keep the ratio the same that it won't really matter.:beer:0 -
Sounds like an American recipe in which case a cup is a measure that holds 8 fluid oz - not the same as 8 oz of flour0

I've been using a teacup that looks a bit smaller than my mugs, but when I actually got round to measuring it, they both hold exactly the same. Nine fluid ounces filled to the top!

So I should get away with using a tea cup?:beer:0 -
You won't go far wrong using a tea cup. I have a set of American measuring cuos but if they are in the DW I often substitute a tea cup. HTHLife's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0
