hot water Worcwater heatslave 20/25 query

Why does above boiler have a hot water timer? It is a combi, so surely it should provide HW on demand and not need a timer. Any ideas?

    Hi,
It's a good point - it doesn't really need one - as the combi boiler will heat the cold water as it is drawn through the boiler.

The engineer that serviced it recently said just leave the hot water on the entire time - it wont use much oil to do that as you're not heating water all the time!

    Hope this helps
