I read this comment on an earlier post
''Single premium and added to debt and charged interest. That is the one area where most PPI complaints get upheld. The rest is either irrelevant or unprovable. Single premium is by far the easiest as it is provable''
I have an ongoing complaint with Blackhorse and this was the PPI situation taken out with the loan (2008) - could someone explain this reasons this is the easiest to prove?
thanks in advance
regards
Steve

PPI could have been set up with monthly payments from your current account. No interest charged on it. Instead you end up paying for a PPI premium plus interest for x number of years (with Black Horse that is typically 10-20 years).
Black Horse have a near 99% upheld rate at the FOS. Single premium has very little justification.
if the lenders had done monthly premium, there wouldnt be this PPI issue now.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
