Things to do in Leeds when you're alive?

Hi,
I would be very grateful if you could possibly help me out with regards to places to go out in Leeds? My girlfriend and I are travelling up tomorrow morning and will be staying until Sunday. We've got the accomodation sorted out (Roomzzz) and I booked a table at Cactus Lounge on the Saturday night, so just wondered what we could do during the day both tomorrow and Saturday.
No doubt if my girlfriend has anything to do with it we will be shopping at some point (although I dont mind a spot of shopping now and again - dont tell her that though!
) so was just wondering what places people would recommend really? We dont have a car so would ideally like to stay in Leeds or possibly travel out not too far on public transport if somewhere is worth going to. Anywhere and anything really, oh and I guess were on a bit of a budget as well.
A few places to go for a drink in or around the Cactus Lounge area for after the meal would be good to know as well?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated, I have researched it a bit but would be good to hear from people who've actually been to places an that.
