bill time
I switched from Powergen to Npower in November 2006, and they said they had the best deal and frozen prices-doesn't look like it.
Npower prices
Gas
first 1567kwh @ 4.412p per kwh
after @ 2.492p per kwh
Bill for £141 from November till now!
elec
first 124 @ 15.03p
after @ 11.11p
Just using gas for heating +shower,
electric for cooker + lighting,
how can it be this much???
thinking about changing back, or to another supplier,
anybody recommend?

Hi,we have just recieved our gas and electric bills in(scottish power),they are proper meter readings,The last one was estimated, they are from 30/10/06 - 01/02/07.
Gas £231 heating and gas cooker rings:eek:
electric £166 lighting and oven:eek:
At the moment I am in a state of shock at the amount. I have been on a couple of switching sites and entered our details as best I know them and they are still saying Scotish power is the lowest, but one of the tarriffs they are saying we can go on will save us £200.00 per year on what power we use, needless to say I will be getting in touch with scottish power tomorrow to see why there is such a big differecne and I will see if we can switch.
Good luckMfit member no 13 original balance £44000
