Not quite sure what to do

Bought a pram from Glasgow pram centre in October. Stupid thing to do as id previously had problems with prams bought from there last year. Its the Bugaboo Donkey so £1300 once all footmuffs and additional seats are added. After recieving the pram we realised the alluminium frame of the chassis and the seat unit rub together and make scratches over the inside of the frame. So we returned it and they replaced it. Then the wheels were constantly deflating( no visible puncture, even did the water test in the kitchen sink to check) caused by faulty inner tubing so they had to replace all four wheels. Now most recently we noticed the seat unit and chasis were rubbing and scrathcing together again.
So i contacted the pram centre a few times regarding this ( i was given the usual fob off of no manager available etc) and long story short they said that all they will do is send it to bugaboo to see if its a manufacturing fault.
Ive quoted them the SOGA about my right to a refund, replacement or repair and they just ignore me saying i can go to trading standards? Ive spoke to several people who say they wont give me a refund unless bugaboo refund them. I dont have a clue what to do.
Although the pram does roughly what it should do, i dont feel that it is what i was sold as it has scratches all over the inside. I know that the fact im due in 3 days is maybe making me over emotional but this is alot of money to me and I feel they are totally ignoring me hoping itll go away. Please give me some advice if you can help. Sorry if ive not covered something Ive got terrible baby brain so please do ask if further information could help you give me advice.

Sounds like the retailer is not able to confirm if its a manufacturing fault, therefore has said the manufacturer would need to do this - therefore you would have to provide the pram to them so that this can be assessed.

Your post sounds like you are looking for a specific result - which would be?

They've offered to send it to the manufacturers to see if it's an inherent fault -- if it is then I imagine they will offer a remedy as per SOGA.
  • Prams cost £1300???? Seriously... children are like weddings, mention the b-word or the w-word and suddenly goods get marked up to 1000% of their actual worth.
