would i be accepted for a 0% interest credit card?

hi , im starting off the new year well and trying to sort out my finances so i dont get in the mess i normally get in ! i would like to do a balance transfer to a 0% credit card , but the card i have at the moment i have paid late most months (this is why im trying to get my act together) would i be accepted for a balance transfer taking the late payments in consideration ? hope some one can advise , thanks :beer:

    The chance of you obtaining a 0% card is virtually 0% with late payments on your existing lines of credit. Lenders can afford to be choosy about who they do the 'best' business with and they will be looking for people with nigh perfect credit records.
    If you are set on a transfer then look at the MSE section on Balance Transfers - particularly at the bottom about non perfect credit. Don't start applying for cards willy nilly, read this and look on the debt free boards too. Good luck with it all and with starting to sort yourself out.
