Not suitable to wear

I have a dress which I bought back in October but well have never been able to wear it as I took the tag off but when I put it on theres a massive hole down the side seam, someone said that I would be able to take it back and get a full refund regardless of when it was bought, is this true?

I could be wrong, but after 3 months, i wouldnt think you had a leg to stand on. Why didn't you take it back earlier?

After 3 months, not a chance. If it's just down the seam, why not get it repaired ?

because I dont have the receipt. I have the tag though.

If you'd taken it back 3 months ago then maybe. If you take it back now then you'll simply be quizzed as to why it's taken so long.

If you don't have a receipt then even LESS chance! A tag isn't a valid proof of purchase, it doesn't show you paid anything for the dress, when you bought it or any of the other relevant information the store would need.

if the shop do offer a remedy, they don't have to issue a refund -- they can repair or replace it due to the length of time passed.
