This is weird to say the least.

WHY would a company that's just taken over a business cease trading that business for a period of time?

SURELY, all the relevant trading checks, merging processes and such like that form part of such take over deals would have been done BEFORE they signed so as to keep the business running.

I don't recall Morrison closing all the Safeway branched when it bought the company or HP pulling product from the shelves when it merged with Compaq.

This appears to be VERY Dodgy.

The company that's bought it was registered on the 5th Feb 2007. It's registered address is Finway, Dallow Road, Luton - yep, that's Watford Electronic's address.
