            It reads as if you would be liable for the £250. Good news is that it shouldn't have an effect on your own no claims discounts (unless the Lessor decides to report the damage to your insurer - which I doubt they would do.0

            Call them and let them know. It will be in your contract that you must contact them when you discover damage. Best to keep 'em sweet.0

 Probably not, I would guess the cost is more like £100 - £150, however you cant say until it is appraised. The majority of Car Rental/ Leasing companies have a very strict business model. They buy cars in bulk, run them for a short period (my company was 6 months or 3000 miles, whatever comes first) and sell them on as 'as new' second hand cars (usually at the same purchase price). All repairs are carried out by the manufacturer to the best possible standard. The massive 'nearly new' marked relies on this.0
