250w heat bulb red expensive???

I am running two 250watt red bulbs on my chicks
Can anyone one tell me the approximate cost??
I have just phoned my electricity company edf and they tell me two together will cost £10 a week
Can anyone confirm this please

    You don't say what your tariff prices are, but 12pence per Kwh would be good and you are burning 1 Kwh every 2 hours
    If these light are on 24/7, the cost would be: 24hours = £1.44 / One week = £10.08, all plus 5% VAT

    As others - looks about right.

    Certainly works out much cheaper to buy POL warrens at seven quid each if it's eggs you're after.
