    Technically in theory they should refund whether they receive them back or not. But in practice, very few will actually do this.

    Remember, even though they refund you, if you fail to return the items (if this information was made available to you prior to the contract being concluded) they can file a claim against you for breach of statutory duty.

    So for the sake of simplicity, just return the items and make sure you get proof of posting/collection.

    Regardless of what the law says, no company is going to refund you until they have the goods back, and can you blame them.
