Loss of Electric compensation
Looking for guidance: We live on a Park Home Site and buy our electric from our park owners, during the recent storms we have been without electric for the last 3 days (still waiting for it to come on) in the past, when living in a house with a direct supply we were compensated via the supplier but as we do not have any direct contact with the supplier at this location so do we contact the electric distribution company: SSP Energy Networks for compensation for loss of power?

Your Elec supply is distributed on wires owned by your Park Home landlord, so compo from the main supplier isn't an option - I doubt that the lease you have from the L'lord offers compensation in the event of wind damage to thier power cables, but you can study it.0

It was the Electric company supply to the park that was down, does this make a difference? The electric company offered us hotel accommodation and a young girl with baby on the site was sent to a hotel.0

As i understand it if you are without supply for more than 18 hours continuous you may and i say may be eligible for compensation. Just write to them giving them all the details ie dates, times and what exactly you are claiming compensation for. PS im assuming SSP is scottish power.

Only the l/lord will get compensation, as they resell to you. The grid is only liable to your l/lord.Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
