we opened a credit card account in Oct 2009 with the Halifax and told the advisor that we did not require any repayment cover.
after looking at our statements we have been charged for and have paid repayment cover from Oct 2009.
can we claim this back??
just wanted to check as the emphasis seems to be on being 'miss sold' cover where as we were given the option.
Thank you in advance for your advice!!!

You can complain. I can imagine that the complaints handler at Halifax will either view you as an opportunistic liar or laugh at your embarrassing financial management. However, as Halifax are basically automatically refunding everything at the moment, you will get away with it.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
