Parking Eye - forgot to pay got a PCN

Most of the advise has been for pcn's sent out when people have overstayed. will the same procedures of ignoring the pcn still apply if simply forgot to pay.
just over 40 minutes parking and a £50 request, any help would be appreciated @ Crown Wharf Walsall

    Forgot to pay is the same as ignoring. So carry on. Don't contact them.

    This is not a PCN - Now you realised you forgot, just keep-on ignoring and check the sticky so you are prepared for what comes next. :)

    whilst we do not advise folk not to pay their car park fee,the answer to your question remains,,,ignore.

    If you forgot to pay than it can be argued that the landowner suffered a small loss of whatever 40 minutes would have cost on a pay & display machine. Parking Eye got whipped in court recently so probably won't be back for a while

    As the judge in Manchester said they would be entitled to their car parking fee, and a reasonable admin fee. Since they have gone straight for a penalty then ignore them!
