Found a way to save time whilst trying to maximise income from selling CD's.
Use Musicmagpie, this will indicate a buy it price for your CD's. Some of my CD's they were offering £3 or more for, when I checked the sell price on ebay some of these sold for £10 or more, one us being offered for sale on Amazon for £45 by a dealer.
Don't bother with compilation albums or mainstream artists as you won't get much.
So to summarise
1. Use Musicmagpie to see which CD's are more valuable, if you have a smartphone takes seconds to check each one and gives you a nice list at the end
2. Check the price these sell for on ebay
3. Sell on Ebay or Amazon

I think you missed the point, my thread was suggesting a way to maximise the amount of money you can make easily, not a way of essentially giving them away for pennies, which is what companies like CEX and Musicmagpie pay in some cases.
For example, two of the CD's I have listed currently have bids of over £10, whereas Musicmagpie offered £20 -
gh I have moved your thread to the Increase your income board as there are already a fair few threads on this I think...
Don't forget to look out for your local FB groups and with some it can even be worth listing on Gumtree
