Ive just had my renual quote from direct line for buildings and contents it was £463.!!!

I searched the internet and ive got the SAME COVER for..........................................................................

    Someone else could get a quote where you got the cheap one and find them expensive and D line the cheapest.

    All insurers rate risks differently.
    PS Have you checked it actually IS the same cover? DL have a pretty well rounded product and home insurers vary greatly on their exclusions.

    It covers everything I actually need. including the accidental stuff.
    DR seem to think i need to be insured for a million quid.

    Either way its still a great saving, and with that kind of saving i could afford to pay for something should the need arise.
  • OK!!!!!!! You stated it was the same cover however it seems it actually isnt.

    Well done on the saving though if it covers what you need.

    Do you actually know how much a claim following for example a house fire can actually cost???

    Direct line are very good at being cheap to hook in new customers but the are not so cheap at renewal in my experience.

    Much the same with all insurers i find.
