how old is it
have you paid for avg
uninstall vuze and yontoo and aol software unless you really want them
Hiya:D
The laptop is about 3 years old, the avg was a copy from vuze but originally had avg (real one) and the same thing was happening. I will get my oh to uninstall vuze , he's bloody obsessed with vuze i keep telling him when he fixes the laptop not to put it back on but , never heard of yontoo so will defo uninstall it (don't know how we got it on there lol and aol can go the journey too. I'll get back to you tomo to let you know how it goes.
Thanks for your help :beer:I love my New Year's day baby girl Olivia xx:happyhearxx0 -

How many beeps roughly?0
-
Did you upgrade anything before the beeps began or did they just begin randomly?0
-
When the computer starts up it does a power up self test and if there are errors then it beeps at you. The beep pattern differs according to who made the Bios chip. For example if it is an /Award Bios then
1 long, 2 short Video adapter error: Bad or improperly seated video card
Repeating beeps Memory error: Bad or improperly seated RAM
1 long, 3 short Bad video RAM or video card not present
High-frequency beeps Overheated CPU: Check fans
Repeating high/low beeps CPU: Improperly seated or defective CPU
If you go into the Bios then there should be an option to turn the password off.0 -

Going by the beeps it sounds like the fan. A nice wee fortune to fix lol
Had a look in the bios and there is no bloomin option to turn the bios beeps off grrrrrrrrrrrr
Thanks for all your help :beer:I love my New Year's day baby girl Olivia xx:happyhearxx0
