Through a credit search I have just found details of a tesco loan we took out in 2004, due to the strange figure of £11,270 does anybody know if tesco front loaded the ppi?
Thank you

Hi hon
Yes I believe so, going by others who have made reclaims on here as well.
As its not rounded off as well into a full figure then in my opinion its possible PPI was rolled into it.;) xThe one and only "Dizzy Di"

Update
I thought I would give Tesco's a call this morning firstly, the lady who I spoke to told me that when you do a credit search the loan figure includes the interest as well, that is why it shows a strange figure. Does anybody know if this was a correct statement?
They couldn't locate our old details over the telephone today so I have sent a letter requesting my terms and conditions.0 -

Yes. It is very common for them to show the front loaded interest.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
I had a tesco loan about the same time as you. I got a copy of my credit agreement from them and it shows the loan amount, the PPi loan and interest for both, all added together to give the full loan amount. It is indeed front-loaded, tut tut

If it gives you any encouragement, I've had an offer from them upholding my complaint and am now waiting for a cheque for over £1900

Hi, my story with Tesco was that, I remembered I had a loan with them around 2004 that I paid off early (2005), I had no paperwork, no account number ... nothing, didnt even know if I had PPI on the loan !! I wrote to them giving my name, date of birth, address and stated they could find the account number from that information, said I felt I was missold it due to it being front loaded, etc etc. Had an offer letter for just over £1K, accepted and received cheque few weeks later, whole process took 10 weeks. Hope this helps ... good luck !0
