cheapest place for Royal Canin

Hi,

My vet has recommended Royal Canin medium puppy skin and digest for my 7 month old puppy.

My puppy has been on this food for 2 weeks and is good for his sensative tummy.

My questions are, is there a cheaper alternative that still offers the same quality? or if this is the best option does anyone know where i can get the best deals for this food.

The vets i attend only stock and promote this food so were not prepared to recommend any other food.

Thank you for your help and advice

  • Try having a hunt around the online stores ..... you can usually get RC a lot cheaper than at the vets (or pet shop) but the offers change all the time and one store will be cheaper one month and another the next.

Is it a prescription diet only?

    Some to try are:

    Medicanimal
    Viovet
    Petmeds Direct
    Vet Meds UK

    If non prescription, also try:

    Pet Planet
    Zooplus
    etc
    Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
    2016 Sell: £125/£250
    £1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000
    Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!

Don't know if this is any good to you but Arden Grange do a sensitive complete dog food.

I will have a look at those sites thank you for your advice, i've never used dried dog food before but my dog has a sensative tummy, so food not prescribed by vet.
I asked them about it as he constantly had a runny tummy and was advised dry to be best, but the vets only use RC.
I am looking for advice on other foods if they would be a good option.

Pets at Home have an BOGOF offer on Royal Canin which started today. Don't know if the kind you want is on the list but worth a check.

They do it every few months, so I usually stock up.
