SAR 2nd Request template?

Hi
I sent off a SAR to a catalogue company on Oct 10. They responded on 20th stating that the request (and £10 payment) had been received and they will be processing it shortly.
The payment has yet to be cashed and I have heard nothing since then (70+ days ago!) Do I send a reminder (if so, is there a template?) OR use this as further evidence in my PPI reclaim with the FOS?

Hi there
Do chase them up, normally its 40 calendar days for them to deal with this request with also debiting the £10.
I would just write a basic letter, and make it clear that a SAR was sent and the payment, 70 days have gone by and you understand they should comply with the data protection act (DPA) by 40 calendar days.
Take it from there, normally you could complain to the Information Commissioners Office (ICO), or you could query this matter with them if the business are not acknowledging your request.

However, please be aware, as long as you know you were paying PPI and have a reason to make a reclaim for being mis sold, you can continue to make the reclaim on the PPI without the requirement of the paperwork, although its useful to have, do not let it hold you back and continue to make your complaint, good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"
