Another Ford S Max question - Fair price?

Hi again guys - just wanted any opinions on the following S Max:
Ford S-max
10 plate
Mileage 31k
2.0TDCI
Titanium
Silver
£15495
I have negotiated £500 off that straight away and then another £1250 PX for our old Golf**, so a final price of £13,745.
Does that sound reasonable? I have been looking online to try and find comparable deals, but not finding much.
**On the PX, a poster on my last thread advised against bothering with PX and selling our old car privately and just haggling more off the price. We haven't decided to go ahead with the PX yet, however our car has quite a few things going wrong with it, and cosmetically isn't great, so am tempted to just get shot of it quickly.

You don't even take him seriously,
How am I going to get to heaven?,
When I'm just balanced so precariously..

11 plate cars in autotrader with 10k miles for the same price.
Petrol models are WAYYyyyyyy cheaper.
£2000 or more. How many miles do you cover?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
For around 15k?
I'm not sure exactly how many miles it'll do in a year. I'll be driving it to work and back 3 days a week (roughly a 50 mile round trip a day) and it'll be used to visit relatives in the midlands a fair few times a year (we live in London).Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

Does that work? 11plate less miles and £2500 cheaper.
Petrol is cheaper to service and more reliable these days. Cheaper insurance maybe? Mine went up when i swapped to a diesel.
Against that is the extra fuel costs and higher road tax. How much fuel will £2500 buy you?
16,500 miles worth?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
