Apex & cca

Evening all, would very much appreciate some advice please. Have loan from Egg which has been taken over by Apex DCA. 2 questions. First of all they have sent me a copy of my CCA, but some words are blacked out, as follows:
These terms and conditions are incorporated into the Personal Loan Agreement xxxxxxxx ('the agreement') made between Egg and xxxxxx('you') relating to the loan described in the agreement and conditions, and 'we', 'us' and 'our' mean Egg Banking plc and any business or other person we transfer any or all of our rights and responsibilities to under this agreement.
Anyone any idea what has been blacked out??
Also under the T C's it appears I had PPI, but the clause says that by signing this agreement I agree and understand the document supplied to me regarding PPI. Well I have not seen a document explaining PPI. Am I wrong in thinking then that this document re PPI is part of the CCA, which I should also have a copy of?
Loan was taken out in 2004, currently paying Apex £20 pm.
Thanks Lotty x

I'd guess an account number in the first instance and your name in the second - i.e your personal details. Is the rest of the specifcl info correct and visible (eg the amount of the loan, amount of repayments etc).A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

Hi Tixy, yes the first page states loan amount £5000, number of payments and account number, my signature and date. So cant argue with that. Its when I turned the page to the T&C's that those few words were blacked out. Was wondering if the CCA is incomplete without the PPI document that I apparently agreed to have read and understood.larry470

No address or D.O.B though, if that makes any difference Tixy!larry470

i would guess that they have cobled together a copy agreement using parts of other peoples or similar agreements.
the blacked out bits look to the acount number and name of the other person
if they left them then it would be too obvious that bthey have done a copy and paste job0 -
Do you think I should question it? was thinking about taking a copy and sending it back to them asking why its blacked out?larry470

Actually will be contacting Egg anyway asking for a 'breakdown of my account' for purpose of PPI refund, so will be interesting to see what they send back to me I guess.larry470

Do you think I should also bring to Apex attention that I dont believe it to be my original CCA, therefore putting the account in dispute?larry470

if its your signature of the front page.....Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Guess you're right, but something isn't right with it I'm sure. For one I have never called myself 'Miss' always been a 'Mrs'! quote 'Personal Loan Agreement for Miss. L. Smith' yet the next page refers to me as 'Mrs'. Maybe I'm just clutching at straws!
(lol, obviously I haven't ALWAYS been a Mrs).larry470
