Laptop Insurance

I have a laptop that while I was away last year, just packed up on me and the insurance cover had run out. I brought it on finance from PC World. Has anyone had any experiences with them over reinsuring and then claiming maybe a month later. Is there any hassle or problems, or would they wonder why I haven't had it insured for so long?

Many Thanks
Adam

"Notwithstanding my client's (Mr Idiot) claim m'lud that his lappy failed just yesterday and not because he only re-insured it only 30 days ago, I feel that the prosecution have not taken into account that the virus it contracted wiped out all of its' data since one month before he renewed up until the date of the virus it infected it."

Edited: In his summing up Mr Justice Carntbleeve said that the defendant's claim that his phone was tapped by the press does not hold water, since he plied his tirade (sic) on an open forum and the plaintiffs (the monkey co. are fully justified in pursuing fully recovering their costs)

  • I have managed to get insured onto my laptop, 3 months payments for a years cover, and thats it. They asked if it is in full working order, and of course it is! So I am away for a few months, come back, and I don't know if my luck will change with mine, but I hope it still works by the time I am back ;)
