I was issued with a PCN by Town & City Parking at the Orbital Shopping Centre Swindon(Asda-Walmart). I e-mailed the parking company stating I was forced to park in a disability space due to the volume of parked vehicles at the site.

Today I received a reply that the charge had been cancelled.

Thanks to the guidelined on the moneysaving website I saved a maximum of £60.00 penalty.

Don't ever pay these shylocks.:j

They cancelled because you told them there was nowhere else to park ?? -I DON'T BELIEVE YOU.

These cretins don't cancel their fake tickets when you contact them , they just harass you more.

AND it is NOT a PENALTY this company have no power what so ever to issue penalties - the way to save that £60 is to ignore and keep ignoring, making contact just encourages their begging / threatening letters !

Sounds like a "look we do listen to appeals and cancel invoices" case for the annual BPA "audit".

My initial thought was it was a post from a PPC stooge, especially as it is their first post here.

Strange thing to do, reply to a scammer when this forum tells you to ignore them. Why on earth would you write, and why on earth would they 'cancel' the fake PCN?

Next time save yourself a stamp and just collect their letters, as we all do.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
