does he want a portable radio or a hi-fi with dab?
    i would check https://www.richersounds.co.uk
they are cheap, reputable and their service is excellent
if you are lucky they will have a dab reciever that you can connect to your hifi through the 'aux' socket.
or dab adapter at currys and dixons for about £50, which means you can get dab through your existing hi-fi
a couple of ideas to think about maybe?
things arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back then ;)
BH is my best mate too, its ok :)

I must invest in a DAB radio, when I listen to "The Archers" omnibus on Sunday mornings the reception is horrible, it keeps going off station. That's BBC Radio 4 for you.!!!!!!!
  • Elvis, the only thing you should be aware of is if you are in a poor reception area for anolgue you still have a chance of hearing the programme. With dab you get one of three things: great sound, no sound, or just garbled noise.
