Santander Internal Transfers

Is it just me or is the quick transfer/ internal transfer between accounts online with santander not working? Any advice as need to do my monthly 1k triggers.

    Last night (Tuesday) there was a problem apparent with payments out (internal transfer were working normally at that time) I was able to make ONE, but only ONE, payment per account used.

    Did you manage to send ONE payment from your Santander account to an external account but then found you could not send subsequent payments?

    If you have any additional accounts with Santander you could try making one of your payments out of these.

    i have 6 current accounts and an e saver but can not transfer any money between the accounts although all of them have cash in. i am trying to transfer cash from my e saver to my primary santander account but it wont let me. then out of curiosity tried to transfer money from one santander current account to another and it wont let me. seems glitchy. any chance you could try transfering internally between your accounts if you have multiple ones that is.

  • They have also managed to loose a hefty sum transferred in yest from external account - grrrr....

    Check condition L3.3 of the T&Cs:
    Transfers into the account from another Santander account
    will not count towards your monthly amount

    yep i know but was trying to transfer it to another of my santander current acount as it has all the details of external account that i bounce it back and forth from

    If you call 08459 724 724 they can manually do internal transfers to get around the 'online' problem. Outward payments can then be made from your account with the payee details.

    problem seems to be fixed now, thank for your help though. guess they were changing some online stuff and caught them at the wrong moment.
