    Ive had the same scenario. Ive emailed them from the link provided by Kelzabells :beer: earlier in the thread...

    ...I'm optimistic that if they've took the money we've got the holiday but I'm not banking on it yet!

    go on the booking site and try to book again, if it has been successful it will say you have already booked
    it won't let you book again
    or ring the sun

    Ive just emailed them...The moneys been taken from my account but im not asuming i have a holiday, just concerned as others have confirmation within an hour or so :(

    I tried this initially it would let me book again, or at least attempt to, but when I went back to try again later it would not, it gave me the message 'you have already booked a holiday using this reference'.

    It may be worth contacting the park operator you've "booked" with as well as The Sun, see who replies first. ;)
  • Thanks to everyone. I booked Hafan y mor last night app 6pm Apr 9th,our Son's 8th Birthday, no upgrade left so chose standard, I'm hoping to ring them direct to ask to upgrade,and make sure my booking is secure this year. Does anyone know if we'll get a chalet or caravan? I need to be brave and ring and ask these questions, but I'm worried if they ask how I was able to book a day early! please be aware last year I booked Hafan y mor, paid for the upgrade, they called me app 1 month later to say they had over booked by 150 places! I couldn't say I booked a day early but was given the option of another park or date, I chose a park in Rhyl. Has anyone else had this problem? I know I've taken a risk but we want to go there as I'ts only an 1hr drive, ideal when the family get car sick! The pool looks great too. Need to pluck up courage to ring, will let you know how much upgrade costs direct as only paid £4 pp and £14 linen hire and beds made up on arrival through sun last year. looked on haven and should be £20 upgrade and £10 linen hire for 2 rooms and £10 for beds made up on arrival, so £10 more but still a big saving.     I decided to upgrade to Luxury for our Haven at Burnham on Sea as we're going on 30 March (only date & park i could get, really wanted Parkdean!). I'm presuming that i'll have to pay an extra linen charge even though for luxury it says beds made up on arrival and also a microwave is included but a microwave is included in all Standard Haven caravans anyway! Does anyone know whether the linen is charged per person or on the amount of bedrooms as we have a party of 5 and therefore may only get a 2 bedroom caravan & the sofa bed. I went to Park Resorts last year and did pay for the linen hire but cannot remember how much it was per person. At this rate i don't think i'll be making much of a saving as the holiday with the Sun is already £135 (before linen hire) and the brochure price for a Superior caravan (which i'm led to believe is the luxury upgrade) is £195. Think i'll also be taking some plug in heaters for the bedrooms lol! :mad:

  • We've just booked 11th June at Park Resorts Sunnydale (No. 38).
    According to the booklet and online brochure, it should be free passes and free service charge for that starting date, however, it's come back with a price of £60 + credit card surcharge. Am I best paying and complaining for the difference, or can I start the process again?

    That the amount you pay for the time of year your going 4 x £15, All other charges (if any) will come with your confirmation from your chosen resort.

    Just managed to finally book 2 and got the dates i wanted BUT it took a lot of playing around, it keps saying the 4 night break i wanted wasnt available BUT once again i have to stress i kept at it moving other holidays to ones i presumed would get booked up asap and it worked, Don't give up xx
