ive found a lipsy dress that I NEED lol, its gorgeous and im gonna treat myself, but I have never bought a lipsy dress before and from googling ive read mixed reviews sizings wise. My problem is im top heavy, generally wear a size 10, but this looks quite fitted, its one shoulder but i have the holy grail of strapless bras now finally so im not worried about that!! Im thinking i should go for a 12 to be on the safe side, but i know i will be gutted if i get it and it ends up being too big.
Has anyone bought/got lipsy dresses that can tell me if they come up small. If its any help this is the dress im looing at.........

Im usually a size 10, top heavy, big bum but skinny sort of girl. I get size 8's from lipsy in dresses and they fit perfectly.
Definitely dont go for a size 12 if your usually a 10.0 -
ooooh thanks for that hun, will def go for the size 10.
cant wait for a night out now-well once ive got the dress lol x

Never mind that (lovely dress though, hope it fits) - I want to hear about the bra as I've never found a strapless bra that works as it should - which one is it0

I'd go for the 10 too. I'm usually between a 10 and 12 (depending on where I'm shopping) but a size 10 Lipsy dress I bought at my thinnest fitted like a glove. I'm pregnant now though so there's no hope of getting into it at the mo!
Regarding strapless bras, I can't fault the Ultimate Strapless Wonderbra, it's amazing!0 -
I've also found Lipsy dresses true to size! Infact a couple I've got are actually the bigger of the dresses in that size!0

I wouldn't say Lipsy are known for being generous in the chest department, if you have a big chest, I think you'd struggle, but that's only my opinion. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

No wonder there are differences of opinion on sizing reviews: I'd disagree with Gillyx and say they are generous in the chest dept!0

I think they come up quite big and are generous in the chest department. I am usually a size 8 and a DD chest and I have a size 6 strapless lipsy dress it fits perfectly and if my breasts were smaller it would be baggy round the top.0

wonderbra ultimat strapless-OMG!!!!! im a 34E and have struggled to find a decent bra that gives support and shape while feeling comfortable and not having to yank up all the time. I was talking to some friends about trying finding a decent one and a bloke's helpful suggestion was to have someone hold them up for me-think he was thinking of himself for the job lol!!
well the wonderbra ultimate has 'hands' inside that do actually hold you up lol, its seriously fab!!! I got mine yesterday and wore it under just a plain halterneck top and it was sooooo comfy and didnt budge at all, not even when i was hoovering and bathing the kids!!! i have had wonderbras in the past and found them to come up slightly small so i went for 32F (found it cheap on ebay lol) and it fits perfect!! im seriously soooo happy, I wasted £20 in la senza a few months back on one that was horrendous. I need to buy at least another, I got the black lace one and want the cream lace too for summer!!0
