Now here is a thing
To claim the Burger King 2 for 1 offer you have to register on there web site.
The last thing you HAVE to agree to is:
"Please add my details to the BURGER KING database so that I can be informed about news and future promotions. BURGER KING will not pass on your details to any other organisation or 3rd parties. (Please see full Privacy Policy below) "
To FORCE you to do the above, I would think, is breaking the Data Protection Act.
I for one will NOT be getting the offer.
What do you think.
A campain on Facebook to get the offer changed !!!
Cheers

I think if you don't want to provide details you don't get the burger. Fair trade to me, they want to mail you offers in exchange for the deal. Nobody is FORCING you to sign up for anything.
A campaign on Facebook for a free burger is a little OTT I feel.0 -
If you're that bothered just lie. Call yourself anything from anywhere. It really is not an issueThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

How can giving your permission for them to pass your details on, be breaking the DPA? you're not being forced to do anything, you're being asked if you wish to trade and you can accept or reject.
Maybe things just work differently in Middle Earth?0 -
They're not FORCING you to provide your details - the option is there - Free Burger / No Free Burger - your choice.0

Yep, Smaug toasts the burgers down there and should you refuse to provide an address within the Shire an army of Orcs reign down on you until you do0 -

While we are talking about the Data Protection Act...
What do you intend doing with the results of the poll?0 -
As an aside, is Bilbo Biggin any relation to Bilbo Baggins?
