Petplan very slow..

Hi All
I have learned so much from this forum so thought I would share this especially as pet insurance and PetPlan often crop up.

Made a claim for advertising and reward for £250 under my Bronze PetPlan insurance (first time I have ever had pet insurance so 1st claim).

Claim sent late November, got letter dated 2nd December saying claim complete we don't need anything else just wait about 10 working days. Fine no problem.

Logged on over Christmas to their online Claims Tracker saying claim being processed and outcome expected 16th December.

Phoned them yesterday after the online thing still says the same and at first they tried to say well its not yet been 10 working days since the letter we sent you (2nd Dec). Then I got an apology and it will now take about 7 working days for them to fast track it.

I don't mind waiting and I am happy with the level and type of cover it gives me just thought I would add this for people looking for insurance.

Will update this when I find out if they pay it or not.

We had a claim go in on 21st December and it was paid to our Vet on the 28th. This is quite the norm for our claims from PP. We cant fault them at all.
