Virus protection on Blackberry Playbook

Do you need to install any virus protection on the Blackberry Playbook?

    As it's not a standard operating system I'd say it's unlikely you'll need one.
  • Brand new OS, so there's likely nothing specific out to target it yet, but there's no harm in getting a free anti-virus app if there's one on the marketplace. Android's marketplace has a free anti-virus app named Avast! which I've used on PC and many friends and the guy who sold my better half her new android phone swore by. If Avast! do one for the OS, I'd say check the reviews for that.

    If there's no free one, you'll probably be fine, but check around on OS specific message boards to be sure.

    No need, just be sensible. Only download trusted apps from the marketplace and you'll be fine.
