Morning all.
Student Loans Company are taking various amounts from my wages, whenever I earn over £288. I get paid weekly.
Am I able to claim this back?

Morning mboro,
If you are earning more than £288 per week gross then the student loan deductions are correct.
At the end of the tax year, if you have not earnt more than £15,000 GROSS for the whole year the you can claim the deductions back. However you should remember that any reclaim of these deductions would only extend the length of your loan as the interest will be charged on the full amount rather than the adjusted balance.0 -
Thanks for that Poolie, think I will leave it well alone.0
