I wanna pair of CROCS - help!

Thanks dalumsden1, you've just answered a question I was about to ask - hubby's a 15/16, so I wasn't sure if it was worth looking at crocs or not (also needs 'Relief' as we've been told they can handle orthotics).
Will take a look - all depends on how close the sizing is I suppose.DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -
I'm not sure I'm understanding your question properly but I'll give it a shot! Definitely hasn't been asked on this thread before.
Birkenstocks are mainly leather/suede/nubuck mules or clogs with a shaped footbed. Crocs are croslite rubber shoes in many styles (the main one is clogs here but loads of others in the US) which are shaped to massage the feet slightly as you walk with a shaped footbed full of little nodes. They also mould to your feet slightly as your feet warm them up. Both are comfortable but I find Crocs more so.
Thank you bakerfa - you've answered my question perfectly! I've got a few pairs of Birkis and I was wondering if Crocs would be that much more beneficial to me.
I want them in RED
Oh and Earthmother - size 15/16? All I can say is OMG!!!!!0 -
Thank you Bakerfa for the advice about tracking my parcel, sure enough it has been at customs for 10 days:mad: and is now on its way to me with charges. Hopefully it will still be cheaper than buying the Crocs here, and all the colours / styles / sizes were not available in Europe anyway. Will let everyone know what the charges turn out to be so you can work out if it is still worth buying fom the States.0

To be honest, even with the chance of charges it's probably still cheaper to buy them there with the exchange rate so good at the minute!
Most crocs are $30, £15 on their site & with postage & charges mine worked out between £18-£22 a pair so still £10 ish a pair cheaper.0 -
http://www.fitfeetuk.com have 10% off all crocs in stock & free delivery. I've just ordered a pair of Athens, I hope they're in stock!!! I love my Crocs and am converting my friends into Croc lovers too :0)0

I asked this too - apparantly the beach is a wider fit than the cayman - but otherwise identical IIRC!

Ahh, the penny drops, thanks for that!
I love the clogs but they look like they could be too warm when it gets really hot and muggy0
