Well today, I have received a letter from Vanquis. Their customer service stinks, but they have offered me £125.00 compensation.

I am tempted to push for more, but it is time and aggro I could do without.

After admitting their mistake, removing the incorrect arrangement entries on my credit files, apologising and paying compensation, can you believe that Vanquis have made the same mistake again? Just seen my credit file and they have now marked a payment arrangement against Feb and March.

    Well it's gonna cost them.

You are being greedy. The amount offered is, in my opinion, adequate.

Just accept it and get on with your life!

That's a rather bold statement to make. If Vanquis had quickly rectified their mistake I would be getting on with my life (as you so nicely put it). But If you had read my last post before calling me greedy, you will see that I accepted their offer. However they have now made the same mistake again and left two more AP entries on my credit file.

Should I so thank you very much????

I have to pay a monthly fee to Equifax to enable me to keep an eye on this situation and spend time trying to get Vanquis to correct their mistakes, so although you might think that their offer is adequate, I do not think it is enough to cover more mistakes after the matter was already supposed to have been resolved. The more factually inaccurate information they put on my credit files, the more "greedy" I will be.

I would say thank you for your advice, but I don't really there was any.

As has been said before, you're being greedy. You are an example of today's compensation culture.

No I am not an example of today compensation culture. I have seen people make claims for imaginary injuries in accidents raising peoples insurance prices and it disgusts me. I am simply demanding payment from a company (that charges a very high APR to its customers) falsely affecting my credit file.

Quite frankly for people to make 2 bold statements that are rather insulting makes you nothing more than arrogant morons. If you had spent MONTHS and countless letters, and phone calls to rectify a problem that was not your fault, you would not think that a simple sorry was enough. Sorry is not enough if you go over drawn, go over your credit limit or make a late payment, there are penalties for the customer. Or is that the banks being greedy?

And when the same error is made again. Should I wait months for corrective action and wait for another of your simple sorry's.

Please remember that I had accepted an offer form Vanquis to end this matter. They have started the matter again. I was "getting on with my life"

Can I ask if people making claims for mis-sold PPI are also part of the "compensation culture" or rightfully seeking payment for error.

Oh and how are your jobs at Vanquis going?
