PPI with Black Horse Finance

A friend of mine has successfully claimed PPI charges from HSBC which has encouraged me to perhaps look at claiming PPI charges from Black Horse Finance for a hire purchase loan for a car I took out in August 2003-it was settled in August 2009.

I have all the paperwork concerned. My only issue is in 2007 I was signed off from work and my income reduced. I got into £82 arrears but when I tried to use the PPI policy Black Horse discouraged me from doing so as it was only going to reduce my payment s of £112pcm by £20pcm. So I didnt bother.

Can I still go ahead do you think? Will this affect any claim?

Thanks

This will not affect your claim, put this in when you do the complaint, you should have had the choice to claim if you had paid insurance.
