Switching tariff with N-Power - can I use a comparison/cashback site?

Hi all

I am currently on an N-Power tariff which is about to expire/has just expired.

I've had a look on the comparison sites and the best deal for me at the moment is a newer N-Power tariff.

So looks like I'll be switching from N-Power to N-Power!!!

I wondered whether it is still possible to get any cashback or free goodies when doing this?

Cheers

Max

Usually the comparison sites are only for new customers. Why not call your company and see if they have anything they can offer to retain you. Once they advise if they have you can then say you heard about this new tariff and want to go on it.

  • Thanks for the advice.

I just called them.... They did not seem to bothered about keeping my custom. They were helpful and gave me details of what they thought were the best tariffs based on what we use. But there was no incentive to stick with them, even when I said I've seen tariffs from other suppliers which might be better.

I also asked what would happen if I used one of the on line comparison sites to switch to a different N-Power tariff (and whether I would be eligible for the cashback/gift/voucher). She wasn't categorical either way with her answer...

So if anyone here has done this before (used a comparison/cashback/etc site to switch to a new tariff WITH THE SAME SUPPLIER), I would love to hear how you got on...

    Many thanks

I used a cashback site to switch from Npower's standard tariff to Npower's Price Protector tariff and got paid out for it...

    I'll quote the email...

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
