Struggling to find a Travelodge in London...

Hi all,
I don't normally struggle with getting a cheap (reasonablly priced) Travelodge in London but I'm trying to get one fairly central for 1 night on 21st June [as we will be going for the early morning Eurostar the next day].
I know it's a month away from the Olympics, but why am I struggling? Is my only hope a sale nearer the time, or do I just give it up as a bad job?
Help please!
Cheers

it might be worth checking back every so often as last year i managed to get a room at the one in kings cross for my parents for 1 night for £32.50, although apprently the girl on reception was quite suprised they got it that cheap and said to my mum they must have been lucky as they only do prices like that for a limited amount of rooms or something0

Thanks, I was really just wondering if there was a reason behine the huge prices around at that time?0

Are there any saver prices showing up at all for that period ? I know in the past when I have looked far in advance, they seem to only have flexible rates available, and saver rates have appeared later on.
If you know you are defintiely going to need a room, them you could always consider booking the flexible rate now (although beware they will take the payment) and cancelling later on if something better comes up nearer the time.0 -
Try the Premier Inn or somewhere else too. Lots of small boutique hotels round there that are far better the travelodge."If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0
