MOT Failure - How do i get the most money i can from it?

    What are the plugs like? oiled?

    Atleast check the lambda sensor is working or if you can't do that get one from a scrappie and change it, then either pay for an emmissions test or go back and have a partial re-test MOT (half price) within 10 days.

    You'll make the most money selling it in bits, it'll be worth a few hundred like that.
    The other option is an engine swap.

    Ah, I was under the impression that the lambda reading was that of the car's sensor.
