fine due, but dvla have licence

hi, any help would be gratefully recieved

ive recently stupidly got a spot fine which carried six points and a two hundred pounds fine.

the problem i have is that my photocard licence was out of date, and ive sent the old one away to the dvla for a new one, i very much doubt i will recieve the new one before my final date to pay the fine.

paying he fine is not a problem but of course the court require both parts of the licence when paying, is there a way to explain my situation to avoid any further nastiness when the due date expires ?

Your new licence should come back quite quickly - some people have had a turnaround of just over a week. You can contact the court office and explain the situation to them.
