    Just wantedt o thank everyone who contributed to this thrread!

    Managed to fix the problem and you were right! The headgear things needed changing! So I saved 140 bucks (at least) on having to buy new taps :)!

    It is kind of frightening though that you've got people offering their skills as a trained plumber at considerable cost and yet can't diagnose and fix a basic problem with a tap.
