    These rises are infuriating. Every month since November I've made an overpayment of £500, and every one of these rises has completely cancelled out the effect of the overpayment. It's a lose-lose situation for homeowners.

    few fixed rates pulled today by the lenders - could be another 0.25% tomorrow

    Unlikey to see a rise tomorrow after that who knows - oil is only up again temporarily so I guess one more rise before a fair period of stability
