Im 26 and i've had a barclaycard since i was 18. All of this time i have been paying PPI up until about 6 months ago when i cancelled it. The thing is i dont have any recollection of ever requesting a credit card from them in the first place ... infact im pretty sure they just sent it me in the post telling me i was now elligable! As i was a silly 18 year old i ran up some debt on it and as part of my monthly repayments i was paying this PPI without giving it any real thought ... like i said i only cancelled it recently when my mum pointed it out to me. I have now paid the card off though i have not closed the account.
Please Help!
I've had a look at the advice on this site but im still a little unclear as to my eligability for reclaiming the PPI? Also, im a little unsure how i get started as im not sure if the letters and stuff apply to me? I'd really be grateful if someone could help!
