Hello! best of luck and try not to get stressed about it all.
Loads of good ideas up there and just a couple of financial things to add..
make sure you don't get stung for paying for things up front as you're the organiser.. let the other people know in plenty of time what needs to be paid and make it clear that if they want to participate (eg in the choc making class) they need to pay by such and such a date otherwise they can't be included. Also if anyone lets you down financially then that is not your fault and make sure you spread any such cost out between the other "hens". I recently organised a hen night where the bride chose the venue and accommodation which meant that everyone had already shelled out £150 before they even got started!! So we had to keep costs down on the activities otherwise it would have been crazy. We sold this to the bride by saying that we needed plenty of downtime so everyone could spend plenty of quality time with her, and actually that is how it worked out. If you're in serviced apartments then you could plan for plenty of time there reducing the time spent out spending money! One thing we did was book online some M+S sandwich/buffet platters and shared them out on the lunchtime. It felt like a lovely posh buffet but only worked out about a fiver a head...
Bibis (mentioned above) is great.. if you can get somewhere with a set menu then you can let everyone know how much it's going to be and people always appreciate being able to budget.
Lastly its nice that the bride wants to be involved but make sure you give her a bit of tough love re deadlines.. if she spends ages trying to choose between a million different options then it could be difficult to get them sorted.. she needs to make your job do-able asyou're not a miracle worker
TO be honest though the main thing that you need to make the hen weekend work is making sure the bride is being made a fuss of for every single minute of the weekend. If she feels like she's not the centre of attention even for a second then you could have a disaster on your hands! all of the things like recipes etc mentioned above will go a long way to making her feel special and are all cheap to do. We all bought the bride a daft presetn (budget £5) and had to say how the present was relevant (eg an alarm clock if she's always late!) .. again cheap enough to do...
Sorry this is a bit of a ramble. There are loads of websites out there so best of luck!CC1 £7,944.10
CC2 £2,680.03
CC3 £1,020.880
