Anyone used etradehouse?

I ordered with eTradehouse on 29/01/2011 and I'm still awaiting delivery, in Belgium (11/02/2011). After enquiring, a few days later, I received from eTradehouse a Royal mail tracking number which indicates the shipment left their main hub on 1/02/2011. Royal mail claims to have transferred the shipment to GLS (for delivery in Belgium) but the GLS tracking number, supplied by Royal mail, is unknown with GLS (not in their system). GLS can't/won't do anything because they claim not to have the shipment, and Royal mail can't/won't do anything because of the same reason.
I can't say anything about eTradeHouse at this time (haven't seen what's in the shipment, "yet"...) but the shipping/payment costs were pretty high, and does not seem justified by the service ...
Mails to eTradehouse about the missing/delayed shipment remain unanswered.
update (15/2/2011): after further enquiring Royal Mail emailed me that the shipment was returned to eTradeHouse on 7/02/2011 (no reason given).
eTradeHouse did not contact me about that (or anything else) and doesn't reply anymore to any of my mails, or attempts via the eTradeHouse and other of their websites (by filling out the contact forms).
I opened a dispute via PayPal and am awaiting their feedback (or that of eTradeHouse, which I do not expect, given their lack of communicating).0 -
Well I also faced problem with using them but then I called them and the assistant over the phone was really helpful and recommend me the Internet Explorer Browser for using eTradehouse. and yes it was fantastic.
As just wanted to tell u as u do agree their prices are great and also Quality is awesome .
GoregeTried to place an order with etradehouse today and i must say it was a very stressful experience and one i will not be repeating!
Sure there prices are good but their checkout system is appalling, i was faced with the choice of:
a: google checkout (no intention of signing up to this, google know enough about the population without knowing what i buy!)
b: bank transfer (sounds a bit fishy to me?)
c: phone payment
I chose option c, seemingly the best option, but the checkout seemed to not understand and it just froze.
I then telephoned them and i must say my call was answered very fast, that is the only positive thing i can say, the person on the other end of the phone seemed to be unable to accept my payment over the phone and kept telling me to use google checkout, ignoring my stating that it wasnt going to happen!
I was then sent a link to an unsecure page where i was expected to fill out my credit card details and have them sent unencrypted!!!!
When I told them this was terribly bad practice i was told that lots of their customers pay this way without concern, no one is that daft surely?!
What followed was endless phonecalls and emails for 1 1/2 hours, with no success before once again i was directed to google checkout grrrrrrr.
At this point I gave up, it shouldn't be that hard!
These guys are either dodgy or useless, either way:

Well can be said that they r not completely professional, But Items are great and so their shop and prices.
Well few times I ordered most of large orders from them and shipping was fast as few of items was damage but got replacement for them.
then one day I visit them when they were in Britania way and ordered few more goods and gave me free postage which the whole order cost me only hundreds s the order could be calculated for thousands,
I will stick to them.
Can be use only to save more money for u.
I would recommend ....

I used this company yesterday, they are very cheap and the items look OK.
5x10m + 3x1m cat6 network cables.
RJ45 crimping tool + ethernet punch tool.
All made in China
Total inc VAT £8.24
However -
Their internet site does not work with Safari.
I live near their office, collected the items in person and paid cash as this is an option when ordering.
Order available within 24 Hours.
For people who can collect I would recommend this method.
I cannot comment on other methods of ordering.
