DFS Claim

Hi, I am hoping to claim some PPI back from DFS. I have a copy of the agreement that ticks the box saying I require the insurance, however, there is also a section which asks for information regarding suitability for the loan. It has ticked the boxes stating that I have no concerns about paying the loan due to the loss of income sickness etc, and that I have other sources of paying the loan, and that I get full payment from sickness off work etc. But, the boxes have been ticked for additional cover. Does this mean I have paid PPI? and if so, why did I need it if I stated I had other means of paying if necessary? Surely it was not necessary to sell me this policy???
Any answers would be appreciated,
(I now have to go out, but will check back later for any responses)
Many thanks
Also if I do have a legitimate claim, how should I word the letter etc???

Ppi should be on the agreement as a seperate payment,if it is not it could be added in the loan amount, what amount was the loan for and how much did you have to pay back?.
Look here for reasons for mis sell
