I had to return something to Argos once due to it being faulty. What a joke that was!! Sending it off, misplacing, months of messing about.
Wont be buying from Argos unless i have to now, especially electronics.0 -
i had this fault at the beginning of november. mine was 5 days old and bought from tesco. i rang amazon, who were very helpful immediately arranged next day delivery of a brand new kindle, and arranged collection of the faulty one. they didnt seem to care that mine was from tesco, they replaced with no questions asked.0

I believe it can be done either way, my issue was I'm an impatient moo and wanted to carry on reading my book that day. Amazon can authorise Tesco to replace or do it the way they did for you, depends which is easier for the consumer I guess.
Amazon have a vested interest in replacing Kindles, who do you buy most of your books from0 -
Thank you so much to the guys who suggested contacting Amazon. They are sending out another one, no problem. Seems to be a common problem. I was a bit disappointed to read some posters insinuating that the Kindle had been damaged, it really didnt help!0

Not very often I feel the need to comment on these things but last week on hol the top 2/3 of my Kindle screen froze my Wife took it back to Argos where she bought it from last Christmas who immediately said it looked like damage and could only send it for repair at £90 plus postage very annoyed at that .So with nothing to lose I contacted CS who after only a few minutes dispatched me a new one with instructions to return the faulty one within 30 days at their expense .More than happy
