Cleaning fabric sofa

Hi
we have a newish fabric sofa.
With a messy 1yr old in tow you'd think it would be a wreck but it actually wasnt the baby who made a mess on it, infact it was my OH and having chocolate on jeans.
Have got rid of the chocolate but its left a white mark on a stone coloured sofa.
Any tips on removing the stain? was thinking of a professional cleaning service but what do they acutally do rather than cost a bomb?
will get it scotch-gard at some point but for now just want it cleaned up :eek:
never again will i pay so much for a sofa!

How did you remove the chocolate? are you sure it's a stain and you've not just taken the colour out of the sofa?0
